I’ve been thinking lately about how everyone experiences Nashville a little differently, like, the version of the city you get depends entirely on what you’re into. That’s why I love these Locals Lists: this week’s comes from Justin, a fantasy-meets-pop-culture graphic artist, and it’s exactly what you’d hope for: a little offbeat, a little imaginative, and definitely not your standard “top 10” runaround.

And if you’re in the mood to lean all the way into that energy, there’s a night called The Disco Ball: Wildest Dreams at Eastside Bowl on April 25th that sounds like it was pulled straight out of someone’s sketchbook, surreal visuals, live performances, and a full-on disco dance party where dressing normally feels like the wrong choice. We’re sending someone in for free… honestly, this feels like one of those “just say yes and figure it out later” kind of nights.

JUST ANNOUNCED

  • The 2026 Ascend Amphitheater lineup is here, bringing a full summer of outdoor shows to downtown Nashville with artists like Young the Giant, David Byrne, Lindsey Stirling, and Jack Johnson. Lock in your lawn spot!*

  • Searows lands at The Basement East on April 30th with Jordan Patterson, bringing a minimal, intimate set built on soft delivery, sharp writing, and the kind of stillness that holds a room. Win tickets, and don’t miss the hush.*

  • The Miraculous Mandarin & Music of Bates runs May 1st-3rd at Schermerhorn Symphony Center, blending orchestra and electronics with live recordings and Bartók’s explosive finale. Win seats to something different!*

  • On April 30th at Harken Hall, Devon Allman leads a powerhouse Blues Summit with Jimmy Hall, Larry McCray and Sierra Green, blending gritty roots, soaring vocals and legacy-driven sound. Stay for every solo!*

  • Plus other just announced shows from Sombr, Joe, Mersiv, The Floozies and more!
