Feeling pretty excited for the weekend, how about y’all? I’m stoked to check out the new I Love Boosters flick tonight! Let me know if you get out and see it too, so we can trade notes. You know that you can reply directly to these emails, right?
Looking ahead, the Predators Craft Beer Festival returns to Bridgestone on June 20th with unlimited tastings, Smashville Eats, games, and the extremely Nashville concept of pairing hockey with beer indoors during peak summer heat. Oh, and every ticket comes with a free Preds game too, because apparently they were feeling generous. Smash beers responsibly!*

LOCAL’S LIST: BEST VEGGIE TREATS IN HOT CHICKEN CITY w/ MICHAEL EADES
I can think of few people that are more woven into the fabric of Nashville’s music and art scene in the past 30 years than man-of-many-hats, Michael Eades. Founder of local indie record label, YK Records, host of the incomparable YK World podcast, and curator of (in my humble opinion) one of the best blogs ever, Yewknee.com. Remember those? He has also had lots of fun side projects over the years that longtime locals may remember (see: Buddytown and Moustache May).
Today, he shares with us where we may find the best veggie-friendly feasts in Nashville, a city more associated with the meats we eats. Bold move. Bolder fellow. Legend.
TODAY
LOCALS ONLY
For anyone traversing the weather this weekend that had a notion to visit one of the places on our best swimming holes list, a reminder that Cummins Falls, likely the most popular of these destinations, requires a reservation. Be safe out there!
Not every night out in Nashville needs to involve screaming over a DJ and waiting 20 minutes for a drink. Act IV: The Celebration at Digital Love on June 6th is built around community, art, connection, and the radical concept of people actually showing up for each other. Come for the intrigue, stay for the support.*
