I had that first “it’s already this hot?” moment this week, the kind where you start mentally mapping out every body of water within driving distance. Which is how I ended up going down a rabbit hole of swimming holes… and realizing we’ve actually got some solid ones around here if you’re willing to get a little dusty getting there. So we pulled together a guide to the best swimming holes near Nashville. Waterfalls, lakes, hidden spots, all the good stuff for when the heat really kicks in.

Places like Percy Priest and the Harpeth River are basically built for this, easy day trips where you can swim, float, or just post up by the water and pretend you’re on a mini vacation.

And if you’re into keeping things a little closer to home and don’t mind dialing it up to 11, enter our IG giveaway for two tickets to Dethklok + Amon Amarth, rolling into town for the Amonklok Conquest on May 10th at The Pinnacle. It should be exactly as intense as it sounds and bringing the heat in an altogether different manner!

And lastly, if you’re looking for more family-friendly events to pass the time with your loved ones (or just distract your kiddos from the usual haunts), give our Do615 Family Newsletter a subscribe and follow along there, too!
