April showers did their thing, and now I’m ready for the part where May actually delivers. And yeah, I mean that literally and in a “holy hell, there’s a lot happening” kind of way. Nashville has got that buzzing, everything’s-coming-together energy in spades right now. New ideas, big plans, stuff finally seeing daylight. Also: an overwhelming amount of outdoor hangs, concerts, and benefits.
If your calendar’s starting to look like a glitch, we got you, we’ve listed 50 Things to do in May to help you cut through the chaos and actually enjoy it.
And if you’re looking for something slightly unexpected, there’s MDNT: at Midday’s A Damn Good Saturday on May 9th… a daytime party that flips the usual script with DJs, energy, and a crowd that’s clearly not waiting until 10pm to get into it. They’re sending someone in, so if you’re curious what a midday dance floor feels like… might be worth putting your name in the mix.

50 THINGS HAPPENING IN MAY
May in Nashville is starting to resemble the number of tabs open in my browser, with no signs of slowing down. Every patio’s packed, every park’s got something going on, and your “maybe I’ll just chill this week” plan is already dead.
So we did the responsible thing (for once) and pulled together the stuff actually worth leaving the house for. Use this as your cheat sheet to dodge the duds and lock into the good stuff!

FEATURED
Did anyone get out and pet any dogs this weekend? The Wicked Market at Honeytree Meadery was a huge success and RARE (Rural Animal Rescue Effort) seemed to find some homes for the cuties that they were fostering, so that is my big win to share from this past weekend.
What are some of yours? Please reply here, and I’d love to hear about it!
Cheers,
Jason
