I've been looking forward to this one ever since joining Do615. Not just because it's our 5th birthday, but because we're doing something that feels very us: turning 615 Day into an entire week-long celebration of Nashville.

615 Week officially kicks off June 15th, but we're getting a head start with a 6.15 Eve party on June 14th at 3rd & Lindsley featuring EG Vines. From there, expect local giveaways, exclusive deals, special events, neighborhood spotlights, and plenty of reasons to get out and celebrate the city we all love. Five years in, and we're throwing ourselves a birthday party the only way we know how: by making it Nashville's party too.

• Independent radio doesn't make it to 10 years by accident. WXNA celebrates a decade of keeping Nashville weird on June 6th at Eastside Bowl with live music, drag, comedy, DJs, punk rock art, and plenty of community spirit. Come raise a glass to one of the city's true local treasures.

• Backslide Vintage's Summer Party returns June 6th with live music, flash tattoos, tarot readings, local vendors, art, and enough vintage finds to justify clearing out a little closet space beforehand. Consider your Saturday plans handled.
