Somewhere between doomscrolling and paying bills, it's easy to forget how good it feels to laugh until your face hurts. In fact, I think comedy is a great elixir for pulling you out of those mundane patterns, and Nashville's got plenty of opportunities to make that happen. We've rounded up some of the funniest nights in town, and, of course, a giveaway you won't want to miss.

We're sending one lucky winner and three friends to Cheekwood's Thursday Night Out on July 30th. Think live music, cocktails, food trucks, blooming gardens, and one of Nashville's prettiest places to catch golden hour. Laugh a little. Win a little.*

JUST ANNOUNCED

  • Dirty Heads are bringing the soundtrack to summer to The Pinnacle on August 1st. From "Vacation" to fan favorites, expect a night packed with laid-back grooves and big choruses. Your beach playlist called…it wants free tickets.*

  • Bust out the low-rise jeans and frosted lip gloss. Love In The Club brings the best of 2000s hip-hop and R&B to Brooklyn Bowl on July 24th with wall-to-wall throwback anthems. Win your way onto the dance floor.*

  • Some country songs never leave you. Andy Griggs brings hits like "You Won't Ever Be Lonely" and "She's More" to Harken Hall on July 25th, with The Messyboyz opening the night. Toss your hat in the ring for a pair of tickets.*

  • Concerts are cooler in airplane hangars. On July 25th, Cornelia Airpark Concerts returns with live music from Sweet Magnolia, Mudbug Stompers, and Forever King Clark, plus food, craft beer, and family fun. Your runway to free tickets starts here.*

  • Plus other just-announced shows from Collective Soul, Andi Marie Tillman, Medium Build, and more!

LOCAL COMEDY HIGHLIGHTS

Laughter is a lot cheaper than therapy. From stand-up heavyweights to local showcases, improv nights, and gloriously unhinged comedy shows, here's where to catch your next laugh around Nashville.

LOCALS ONLY

  • Bikes + ice cream = a perfect Sunday. On July 19th, pedal through Shelby Bottoms with Nashville Bike Fun, then stick around for free Ben & Jerry's, games, and a hilariously competitive slow bike race. Bring the whole family.

  • Got something to get off your chest? Strega’s local phone booth is now taking anonymous confessions, missed connections, love notes, and long-held secrets. Pick up the receiver, leave your message, then see what Nashville confesses next.

WIN STUFF

May your hecklers stay home and your punchlines land.

Peace & hairgrease,
