Need a break from your group chat’s bad weekend ideas? We’ve got you. From rooftop movies to secret shows to under-21 gems you’ll actually enjoy, here’s what’s happening around Nashville right now.

Shirley Manson still sings like she’s setting shit on fire. And now Garbage is back in town touring a brand new album and torching every stage they touch. They hit The Pinnacle 9/10 with Starcrawler in tow and we’ve got free tickets for you.*

JUST ANNOUNCED

  • The Merry Wives of Windsor is this year’s Summer Shakespeare pick, running 8/21–9/21 at oneC1TY. Expect free pre-show concerts, food trucks, lectures, and plenty of chaos. Pay what you want, or win reserved seating.*

  • Savannah Conley’s voice hits like a memory you forgot you missed. She’s bringing that same magic to The Blue Room on 8/30 — a hometown show that’s bound to sell out. We’ve got a pair of tickets with your name on ‘em.*

  • Diane Warren has 15 Grammy noms, an honorary Oscar, and more iconic ballads than you can count. On 9/9, she’ll sit down with Megan Moroney for FEMco’s first-ever live convo series at AB Hillsboro Village.

  • Get ready to sing, dance, scream-laugh, and maybe walk out with some cash. Urban Trivia hits Skydeck on 10/11 for a wild night of Black culture knowledge, from TV deep cuts to music legends. This will sell out, so don’t play yourself.

  • dodie’s back and she’s bringing her most personal record yet, Not For Lack Of Trying, to Brooklyn Bowl on 2/20. This one’s for the longtime fans, the new softies, and everyone still figuring it out.
