WHERE TO WATCH MARCH MADNESS IN EAST NASHVILLE

There’s something special about watching basketball with strangers who care just as much as you do. A clutch three, a terrible call, a room full of fans riding the same emotional rollercoaster. In East Nashville, sports bars aren’t just about the TVs, they’re about the shared love of the game, mostly-friendly rivalries, and that moment everyone collectively stands up in awe, hanging on by a thread… swish!

Here are a few of our favorite spots to watch some of the big games on the East Side!

THIS WEEKEND

SHAMROCK SHOWDOWN BEERLYMPICS

The Irish invented a lot of great things: whiskey, St. Patrick’s Day, and the noble tradition of competitive drinking. Now it’s time to honor that legacy at the Shamrock Showdown Beerlympics, a gloriously chaotic afternoon of beer-fueled games, questionable athleticism, and green-clad bragging rights. Grab your crew, come down to PBR Nashville this Saturday, March 14th, pick your poison, and prepare to dominate events that absolutely should not require a referee. May the luck of the Irish (and your liver) be with you.*
