Alex and I have taken “tear the roof off the sucker” to a whole new level in our household. Thanks to a leak from our upstairs neighbors, we’ve been living without our kitchen ceiling all week and, as it turns out, living in an active construction zone isn’t the vibe. 😓 Thankfully, plenty is going on around Music City to get us out of the house…and today, I’ve got a few good reasons for you to leave yours, too.

I’m in total denial that summer is winding down, so I’m doing everything I can to keep the summer vibes alive. One of my favorite ways is popping into a plant shop or buying myself flowers (cue the Miley Cyrus song) to keep my surroundings bright and sunny. • Southwest may have said goodbye to open seating, but the airline is giving Nashville something new to look forward to. Construction is underway on one of its first airport lounges at BNA, which is expected to welcome its first guests in late 2027. I’ve never been inside an airport lounge, but I have a feeling I’d love it. ✈️
