Midweek is usually when I realize I haven’t actually made any real weekend plans yet, just a lot of “we should do something” texts that linger. So, I’ve started treating Wednesdays as a reset button: find one good thing, lock it in, move on.
One worth your attention: Sips for Species at the Nashville Zoo. It’s an adults-only, after-hours night with drinks, animal encounters, and a behind-the-scenes look at the zoo’s conservation work (which has already raised over $50K to help protect endangered species). MOVIES UNDER THE GIANT GUITAR KICKS OFF WITH THE GOONIES
This spring, Wedgewood-Houston transforms into an open-air cinema as Movies Under the Giant Guitar returns for a free, three-part series. With warm nights, cult classics, and food trucks in the mix, it’s your go-to plan for easygoing evenings under the stars.
The series begins on April 9th in the Outfield with The Goonies, followed by as-yet announced additional screenings on May 14th and June 18th. These cinematic gatherings start at 6pm, movies begin at 7pm. Leave your phone (and wallet) on silent, bring a blanket, and settle in!*
