Mid-week checkin. How’s everyone doing!?

Need a win? I gotchu. Prizes this good don’t require an intro, so let’s get into it.

WIN STUFF WEDNESDAY

I don’t know if y’all have seen the surprises Kacey Musgraves has been rolling out on her Middle of Nowhere Tour, but it looks like she’s having a real ball…or two. 👀 I bought tickets to the September 27 show pretty much the second they went on sale, and I’d love for you to get in on the fun, too! Giddy up and enter to win tickets to the September 28 show.*

BROOKLYN BOWL NASHVILLE

Brooklyn Bowl Nashville has a packed run of shows in September with The Weeks (9/12), Face to Face (9/19), Here Come the Mummies (9/26), and LP (9/30). The music continues into October with two nights of Umphrey’s McGee on October 2 and 3, so start making your concert plans now.

WHENEVER

09/06 - THE SUICIDE MACHINES (WIN)

09/25 - POST SEX NACHOS (WIN)

09/29 - REBECCA BLACK (WIN)

09/30 - THE BROS. LANDRETH (WIN)

10/01 - JUICE

IMPRACTICAL MAGIC AT HIDDEN BAR

Something magical is brewing beneath Noelle at Hidden Bar’s limited-time Impractical Magic Halloween pop-up. ✨ Follow the candlelight into the Owens family home for midnight margaritas, bubbling potions, and spellbinding cocktails; no reservations required. Pro tip: dine in at Lona to receive a skip-the-line pass.*

LOCALS ONLY

  • Another one bites the dust. 💔 Cumberland Hardware, a family-owned Five Points fixture, will close its doors at the end of the year after 42 years in business. The store thanked the East Nashville community for decades of support but has not shared a reason for the closure.

  • My husband and I have a really cheap mid-week date night, and I’ve decided to stop gatekeeping it. All TailGate Brewery locations offer half-price pizzas every Wednesday, so we usually split a gluten-free cheese pizza with hot honey and whipped ricotta while trying a new beer or cider (for me). It’s an even better deal if you’re a Mug Club member, just sayin’. 🍕
